Silver Shoe Design is a boutique lighting design studio based in Brooklyn, NY and Philadelphia, PA.  We balance light and shadow with form and texture to build rich hierarchy with subtle contrast into your space.

Sara McElroy is the founding principle of Silver Shoe Design and has ample experience working at various scales and breadths. She has previously worked at Tillotson Design Associates, Ketra Inc, Horton Lee Brogden, and Lumen Architecture.

Sara teaches Interior Design at Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA and has previously taught at Parsons, The New School, NY, NY and Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY.
